TOURS

Petoskey Yesterday offers walking and driving tours of historic Petoskey and sites associated with Ernest Hemingway. Additionally, it has a wide selection of out of print Hemingway books and vintage images and collectables related to both Petoskey and Hemingway.

As a young man, Hemingway summered in the area and was married here in 1921. His Nick Adams Stories immortalize the northern Michigan places he knew and loved. Tours focus on his personal experiences “up north” and on the regional locations associated with his stories. These tours are appropriate for either the Hemingway novice or expert.
